Reading and Book signing with Author Oliver Chin at Autumn Moon Festival

You’re invited to celebrate the Autumn Moon Festival and the Year of The Pig with a book reading and signing with local author Oliver Chin.

Oliver Chin is the author of more than 15 books, including the highly popular Tales of the Zodiac series, in which a new book is published each year, corresponding with the Chinese New Year.

The book reading & signing will take place at the One Richmond office (802 Clement) during the Richmond District Autumn Moon Festival occurring steps away.

Community Giants Game at Richmond Neighborhood Center

The Richmond Neighborhood Center is partnering with the SF Giants to livestream a game at our site on Sunday, July 28th at 12:30 pm. Bring your beach chairs and blankets and watch their game against the San Diego Padres. Lou Seal will also be making a special guest appearance, come out and get your picture taken with this local celebrity!

Opening Reception & Performances: May 2nd, 2019, 6:00pm-9:00pm Featuring a performance by Patricia Ong and Roseli Ilano, chants from the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee facilitated by Julio Magaña, and a Pop-Up Shop featuring affordable artwork by Agrarianaa artists.

Closing Reception & Literary Reading: May 23rd, 2019, 6:00pm-9:00pm. Featuring a literary reading curated by Bonnie Wai-Lee Kwong. Visitors are also invited to bring seeds, plants and cuttings for a participatory plant swap to occur at the closing reception.
