Project Homeless Connect is looking for volunteers for their Community Day of Service!
Help assemble over 1,000 hygiene kits, donated from Simply the Basics to help to ensure everyone receives necessary hygiene supplies. Packed in their signature, reusable mildew-proof tote bags are new socks and hygiene products for health and wellness.
Meet in the Urban Life Center's Auditorium, 1031 Franklin Street, on Monday, March 2nd at 4:00 PM for brief introductions and a discussion on the importance of high quality health and hygiene products for people experiencing homelessness. Then, the main attraction: hygiene kit assembly! Volunteers will pack socks, soap, wipes, lotion, etc. into the reusable tote bags for easy transportation to next week's event. Pizza will be served to fuel your hygiene kit packing efforts!
