One Richmond is thrilled to share some exciting news about initiatives aimed at providing essential services and fostering a stronger, more supportive neighborhood.

Free Laundry Day:

We are delighted to announce the return of Soap, Suds-N-Harmony's Free Laundry Day! This program offers free laundry services to our low-income or unhoused neighbors, promoting inclusivity and compassionate support within our community.

Upcoming Free Laundry Day Dates:

- Tuesday, April 30, 2024

- Tuesday, May 28, 2024

- Tuesday, June 25, 2024

We will offer two time slots between 10-12pm. 

One wash & dry cycle per household. To participate, register in advance via this form or in-person at the One Richmond office 802 Clement Street, SF.

There are also new qualifying criteria to join the program.

Must be low income (Less than $40K per year)

Must live in District 1

Show ID that shows residency in 94118 or 94121

Community Clothing Repair Partnership:

In addition to Free Laundry Day, we have an inspiring new partnership on the horizon. A dedicated community member is proposing a Community Clothing Repair initiative. They plan to offer free repairs to clean clothing, focusing on tasks like patching holes, adding buttons, and hemming. This program will start in March.
